Garbanzo bean (also known as chickpeas, yes they are the same thing) are super healthy, and one of my favorites. I love them in a salad, blended into hummus, and even use a garbanzo bean flour in my pizza dough (recipe here). They are also great when roasted in the oven!
All you need is a can of garbanzo beans, some oil, and the seasonings of your choice.
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees fahrenheit. Then, drain and rinse your can of garbanzo beans. Pat dry with paper towels.
2. Spread beans out evenly on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Drizzle with a bit of oil then season. I usually use kosher salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
3. Roast for 30 – 40 minutes or until beans are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.
